Furious vigilante films himself tearing down shrine to dead burglar after crook's friends set it up outside home of OAP who killed him
The nitwit friends and relatives of the robber (and he was not just a burglar, not when he threatened the homeowners) put up a "shrine" to the deceased idiot right across the street from the people he victimized. Over a hundred flower bouquets and other nonsense.
Neighbors were outraged, but the police claimed they were powerless to remove the blight, even though it appears to me it was either built on private property or public housing property (e.g. most of it was tacked to a fence along the sidewalk).
One of the few Brits that hasn't completely lost his moral sanity removed the "shrine" himself. Well Done!
Also, the pensioner who defended his home against the burglar was originally arrested on suspicion of murder, but has now been released without charges by the police -- who apparently have to guard him against retaliation by the dead thugs friends and relatives.

The pensioner was upstairs asleep with his wife when he was woken by the two men breaking into his suburban home in Hither Green, south-east London last night.
He was forced into his kitchen by one of the men, who was armed with a screwdriver, before a struggle ensued.
The intruder, a 38-year-old man, was left with wounds to his chest and local residents say he collapsed in a neighbouring road and died in hospital.

The homeowner suffered bruising to his arms but police said his injuries are not life threatening. He remains in custody at a south London police station.

The break-in comes amid a surge in violence in the capital, with 49 people already having died in crimes in London in 2018. Last night's death brings the toll to 50.
