Easier said than done! "rlol"

38 days today and still nothing :banghead:
I am surprised that there are not more members who have dealt with the same and willing to chime in on this. Either way, the wait is killing me.

just called and the girl that answered would not give me an update, she only said that they have 20 more days to work on it.

Re: Wait time with a "Record"?

TheBlake wrote:So, it's been about 45 days since my application was submitted and still no status change so I called the RSD office today and after a 45 minute hold was able to speak to a representative. He informed me that since I had something on my record, which I DID disclose and sent certified court disposition (Underage DWI, 9 years ago in Nashville) that the process will take AT LEAST 2 months and potentially even longer for my application to clear.

Question for anyone who has had a "history"... was this your experience? Did it really take 2 months for your background checks to clear and have your license issued??

its been 35 days for me since I submitted paper work, I do have reckless driving in my record from 12 years ago, the rep said that they are making sure I still meet the qualifications for the CHL.
