yes is temporary, it will be normal after a few weeks.

not everyone, mine took 49 days, I seen as low as 13 days and as high as 58. Good Luck!

13 business days and no update. I have only lived in Denton and Collin counties the last 5 years and squeaky clean with a DD214. I will give them another full week before I call to ensure they have docs....

you should called them soon, if you wait 1 more week and they don't have the paper work you will have to wait longer.it doesn't hurt to call them today, but call between 6 pm and 6;30pm that girl that doesn't like to tell you anything is gone by then.

My husband who had the same schedule as me got his permit on 1/30/15. So not fair!!

Firefly your status changed on 1/30 that means your plastic is on the way it only took you 19 days, today is day 46 for me and still no status change.

You need to call them, they don't answer emails quick, I already tried that, they can tell you where you application is on the phone, I just called yesterday and they said a tech was working on mine that they found some stuff on my background check and they were making sure I still meet the requirements for the CHL, here is the number 512-424-7293 if the automated says to try your call later wait about an hour and call back
