Re: DPS Body Cam Footage Confirms Dennis Bonnen Lies

Let me be perfectly clear.

Anyone behaving that way in my neighborhood- and I mean anyone peacefully and politely advocating the second amendment - will be immediately approached.

We know how to deal with his kind. Not five miles from here, a little Bar-B-Que restaurant serves what every single citizen across this great state agrees is far and away the best brisket in Texas. What better way to deal with a gun McNutt than over a generous plate of award winning groceries?

Seriously, that kind of encounter with police, where the subject of firearms is no more than an excuse for a friendly conversation, is something I crave. Freedom and civil rights are beautiful things, and it makes me want to stand up and cheer when government enforcement is respectfully on the side of decency. Which, in my experience, most police are.

That little Bar-B-Que shop, by the way, is right across the highway from the Mexia airport. Even more amazing than the brisket is how modest they are about it.

Come early if you want lunch. There's always two lines. The one in front is good rural folk with healthy appetites, and there's another line at the side door. That's where the cows line up.

It's that good.
