The anchor was arguing that people who identify LGBQLSMFT, or whatever the alphabet soup is, aren't causing trouble so no big deal. The Governor said he couldn't believe he was having that conversation.
But what about making men welcome to go into a little unmonitored room where women partially disrobe? Not just those who are intellectually female, but any man? The terlit is not what I would consider a romantic environment, but if my currently female-identifying life partner who presents as a physical female (and quite nicely, I should add) goes into a restroom I'm not going to let some guy sashay in behind her unescorted. If some guy wants to follow my wife into a tactically difficult situation like that, I'll follow in with him.
