Eddie Eagle material would be a good place to start. For older children, say age 8 and above, maybe organize a contest at a local gun range. Go through orientation, shoot single-shot .22 rifles for scores, and win some kind of prize. Ted Nugent hunting videos, something like that.

I may not agree with MDA, but I would still work to preserve educational and recreational opportunities for their kids. It's only right.
