Re: Open holster lunch at daughter's school.
I have no issue with the holster. But I did want to clarify that in some places, while the school is public , it is also considered private property. So school admin can ask a person to leave and even have them sign a trespass warning that would block them from coming onto school grounds. I don't kn...

Re: Kidnapping vs Aggravated Kidnapping
Scott basically hit the nail on the head. That's how it was described to me a couple of days ago in my academy. Also it's interesting how if someone is committing a robbery and tells someone to sit down and not move...you essentially restricted their movement and have a hostage. So could be charged ...

Re: When will Chicago Police learn
99% of Chicago Cops do a fine job. Right now they are being told that someone driving with a 2,000 pound car is not a deadly weapon. They have aldermen with gang ties who want to blame them for everything. At one point a Convicted FELON was doing test administration for a detective test that include...

So I am selling my Colt Defender with approx 300 rounds through it with no malfunctions for $650 OBO. Not interested in trades. I live in Cedar Park. Must show Valid TX DL at time of...

Re: Chicago Deadly Weekend
You actually get some aldermen who had original ties to gangs before becoming politicians. I believe alderman Burke was one such suspected person.
Re: Tannerite
I actually just had my uncle call me yesterday about this up in Illinois. Sounds like someone was doing something similar.

Re: Knife store around Austin area?
Would love to see a store that specializes in some upmarket brands and could also provide an outlet for high quality custom makers to consign their goods. Some brands I'd like to see at such a shop: *Chris Reeve *Randall *Boker *Benchmade *William Henry *Strider *Zero Tolerance *Lion Steel Just to ...

Re: Knife store around Austin area?
I don't own any Spyderco knives, but after finding what you like in person you might look at these and compare prices. I'm not dinging you personally here, but this is exactly why there are few business growth opportunities as a small retailer. This technique has become all too common with the adve...

Mcbrides said they have a decent selection. Not the one I'm looking for, but I think I'll check them out later today.

Re: Knife store around Austin area?
Out of all the stores in that list joe, half don't carry Spyderco and the others only have a small selection. I was hoping to try a couple in hand before buying. Might just have to gamble

Knife store around Austin area?
Hey all. Was wondering if there is a knife store in the Austin area that sells Spyderco knives?
Red's has an excellent selection of benchmades, but doesn't sell Spyderco.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Ruger AR-556 or Bushmaster QR?
I brought mine to a gunsmith and he did it for $50. Took him all of 20 minutes. He did not have any trouble removing he front site/gas block. I used a low profile gas block as a replacement FYI.
