I am old enough and was there for 3 tours. In those days we were not appreciated like the Military is today. It was a hard and useless time there and the same (or even worse) when/if we got back home.......Oldgringo wrote:

It makes me sick that we deploy our forces into fights that we know we cannot win (and shouldn't even be there). I wish we could stop "Policing" the World and just take care of ourselves. And if we want to be in the business of "Nation Building" we should be doing it here.....at home....
