My mother is a UT professor and is pretty high up in her program. Although she doesn't like guns she doesn't think people shouldn't have them. She has told me their is quite a few professors that are very anti gun and extremely ignorant to anything to do with guns. But you have to remember when it comes to educators common sense is not allowed.
