Missing Mag? What About a Whole Missing Gun?

Those guys are all glad some nice citizen noticed and mentioned it before one of their brother officers -or worse, one of the brass saw it. You do something like that and another officer finds out you never hear the end of it.

I never left a mag out, but once I left the jail house after processing a BG and got a couple of miles down the road before I realized I left my gun in the lock box and had to go back for it. That would've been really embarrasing if I'd made it all the way to my next call that way.
