I remember one instance of a backpacking trip to Buffalo Trail Ranch in Ft Favis when one of our Scoutmasters was carrying a handgun. Somehow the camp ranger found out and sent him and his son home. The Council Executive ended up handing down a six month suspension on the dad. Needless to say we never saw him or the son again.

The BSA has lost their way in so many respects. Last year was it for me...I severed all ties to BSA including monetary donations and boxed up everything that was hanging on the walls.
