The one you have with you is infinitely more reliable than the one you left at home

Think you're on the right track. Some sort of single shot. I'd lean toward a break open or lifting block. Something with an absolute minimum of moving parts. Then the weak point will be ammunition.

Re: Do Own A Sig 365?

There's a lot of signal noise w/ Sig these days. The 320 issue was resolved. They moved forward.

The 365 is innovative and also the hottest selling new pistol. There have been some issues, they'll fix them and move on.

Every manufacturer goes through this. Glock? They've been making the same product for 30 years, refining it as they go. The 43 was new a few years back. They had issues, fixed them and moved on.

1911 been around a while. We can debate if it's been perfected or not. ;-) Wheel guns been around a while, pretty reliable.

There are no flawless new product launches.

Sig could do the safe thing and continue to make DA/SA pistols but they're going to innovate just like every other successful manufacturer.

Am I biased? I suppose. I sell more Sig product to local LE than outfits 3x our size. I carried a 320 for a while so I could speak more effectively about it.

What is my EDC gun? A tried and true M&P9 Pro....and yes, they had problems too.

There's plenty floating around if you want one. Police trade-ins, etc.

I've got one on my bench right now that's in for updates/upgrades. Unless you just want "Made in W. Germany" on the slide, the new production guns are superior.

Abraham wrote: Mon May 28, 2018 11:30 am Now, my interest in the Sig 365 is second to the Kel-Tec PMR-30.

Almost no recoil, meaning you get to stay on target, and the capacity, hoo-boy, 30+1 of .22 cal Magnum.

This cartridge has oommpph!

Far and away more potent than the .22 cal LR.
PMR-30 is okay as long as front sights stay on, they tended to lose a few.

Yes, that's the video I've been referencing.

And, they shoot other brand and not just Magtech, Blazer 124 gr being one.

I don't have time to re-watch the whole thing, but they may have shot some other brands of ammo too.
If you note the date of that video, you'll see that's from before the sight upgrade and barrel hood change.

But again, please don't buy any 365s for a couple of years.

Re: Do Own A Sig 365?

Those are the Xray 3 sights (really they're Trijicon XDXR branded for Sig w/ green front sight). Those sights also come standard on the Legion series.

Very nice touch putting them on the 365s after a spat of dead SIGLITE sights (made by Mepro for Sig).

The Xray is a popular sight upgrade for any of your classic or 320 series Sigs.

Re: Do Own A Sig 365?

Please, don't buy any 365s...I need all of them that I can get my hands on. :smilelol5: The 365 is simply the hottest seller right now. They have a huge hit on their hands.

My wait list has gone over 40 and we're a small shop. I'm hording magazines and holsters for them like there's no tomorrow.

One of these days I'll get a big shipment and will be able to keep one for myself.

No negative reports thus far. All the one I've seen have had April build dates.
