I also took a Stop the Bleed class yesterday. The majority in our class were fellow CERT folks.

It's well worth your time to track one down. At an hour and a half, it leaves you wanting more but they pack a lot of good information in that time. As our lead FD instructor stated, Stop the Bleed is much more likely, statistically, to save a life than CPR.

I'd taken a gunshot trauma class a little over a month ago and this was a great bookend to the CPR/First Aid/AED re-certification I'd completed between the two.

I'm doing the class on the 31st at one of the Tomball fire department locations. 10 am class. They've got 4 scheduled for that day but I think space is limited.
