Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Guess we'll see as the weekend gets closer. I was planning on a long range session at Fossil Pointe Saturday, but no fun in that kind of weather.strogg wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 10:43 amI am, thanks. Yes, this Friday evening and Saturday are supposed to be interesting weather-wise. At least that's what the weather radio keeps telling me. I'm looking forward to it. And the breakfast too.Flightmare wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 11:14 pmHope you're feeling a bit better. Forecast right now looks like rain. Those who are unable to make it because they tend to do outdoor competitions, should not have an excuse this month.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Have you searched to see if the O&M manual is available on line?surprise_i'm_armed wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:28 pm I will be there this Saturday. I am bringing a walkie talkie size scanner, but I misplaced the book with the frequencies in it, plus I'm baffled by all the buttons on this puppy.
Flightmare, or someone: could you bring any hardcopy of local police frequencies, and possibly get me set up to listen to police calls?
I'd like to get DPS, Plano PD, Frisco PD, Lewisville PD, Collin County & Denton County Sheriffs Depts.
As a plan B, if anyone knows any police scanner apps I could put on my Android phone, that would be good too.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Well, we could go indoor to DFW again, or still want to check out Crossfire. Also we could go to Elm Fork, weather permitting and shoot steel. If we had enough folks that could commit to a date and a little more expense, could set up another private training day with Phil Ryan. Could do a 2 or 3 gun day maybe. Give it some thought and we can discuss...

WHAT? Not a range date? We were all planning to join you, strictly for moral support of course!surprise_i'm_armed wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 9:01 pm 800 AM - 1130 AM: I will be at Frisco Rudy's, then must leave, although many times we jabber until much later.
Grundy1133: We all look forward to meeting you. Just look for the table with a bunch of open carriers.
Noontime: My lunch date, also in Frisco, with a new redheaded gal. You guys will have to carry on without me after 1130! :-)

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Elm Fork is likely underwater already after today.
I do have a membership at DFW Gun Range (indoor) on Mockingbird if anyone wants to go either after Rudy's or Sunday morning.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
It couldn't be due to those gigantic wheel guns you carry.
Must be the weather!
