Re: Whataburger's Gun Policy (Ugh)..........
Tucker is a veteran and an incredibly fine leather maker. Yeah, I know, technically the cows make the leather. Not everyone will agree but basically there's Tucker and there's anyone else. He does the Texas concho among other things. I'm sure some people wouldn't have a clue but I think someone wearing a fine custom leather rig would be considered off duty, plain clothes or something else as often as not by the majority of the clueless.

Re: Whataburger's Gun Policy (Ugh)..........
You have to wonder just a bit about people worrying over someone wearing Tucker leather. How many street scum wear a full Tucker rig or similar open carrying?

That's easy. Because every snake on the planet is deadly poisonous and out to get you. Easier to avoid death by snakebite by adopting that premise.

Re: Whataburger's Gun Policy (Ugh)..........
I pocket carry. I can't take the heat to belt carry with an extra cover layer. I might open carry sometimes or might not. I'd like that option any time anywhere. I wish there was some differentiation between long guns and handguns. I can see not wanting a dozen assorted long guns in one's business but handguns would likely go unnoticed by many. I really despise the nut gang for all their foolishness in the media that did nothing but damage.

Perhaps we all need to become secondary alternate reserve backup deputies. Then WB and other places should have no issue if we OC during code 7 (to borrow from some tv show) or whatever the local term is for eating.

Why eat at WB? When cost/value is the measure they are very hard to beat. They make very good hamburgers for a reasonable price. They aren't as good as Willie's and some other places but they aren't that expensive either.

Re: Whataburger's Gun Policy (Ugh)..........
How about because it's an infringement, as well as an affront to honest, law abiding citizens. Either I and my firearm are welcome in every way allowed or we are not welcome at all and I will not spend one penny with an anti-legal-gun establishment. This makes them no different than a business posting a 30.06 and it makes anyone supporting them an anti-gun supporter.WinoVeritas wrote:As a licensed CC'er, please remind me why I should care about this.
p.s. Yours was the first post I got to that called for such a response. This isn't directed exclusively at you. It's directed at anyone and everyone who would patronize Whataburger from this point forward knowing they have decided to go to the dark side.
