I'm thinking that he saw the BG holding the door and was pretending to talk on his phone like any other deluded sheep or yuppie. Then went inside looking for his wife, but then one of the gang bangers pointed a gun at him and he reacted. That's my take since I might try the same tactic. Act like you're on the phone so that the idiot banger will just think you're like every other moron walking around.

I guess when you're looking at ten to twenty anyway for armed robbery, then who cares? They're probably too dumb to realize that the court isn't going to let them post bond until they know exactly who they are...if even then.
