Ordinarily, I would agree with you completely! However, Bradley/Chelsea Manning was convicted violations of the Espionage Act and publishing classified military information. He put our military in danger. As a person with relatives that serve, I despise anyone that puts my family at greater risk.

Manning is not electable. I believe that Mannng's run for Senate is serving a purpose other than an actual run for the US Senate. Manning is in this for the reality celebrity status. No candidate would admit to attempting suicide then ask voters to trust them in Washington DC. Manning is an outsider, convicted felon and controversial person such that people seriously enough to elect.
