I agree with having ample insurance coverage. Hopefully the OP is an NRA member and opted for the additional no cost ArmsCare coverage ($2500 now).gigag04 wrote:Homeowner/renter's insurance?
All of my guns/optics/high value items are insured through USAA. Having all of that, plus the fiance's rock, it costs me about $13/month on top of my car insurance. I also have a $2K miscellaneous jewelry rider that covers any jewelry, that isn't specifically listed.
Might check into something similar with your carrier. I didn't used to carry as much coverage but after taking umpteen billion burglary reports, short of living in a bunker, it can pretty much happen to anyone.
