Re: Question regarding suppressor caliber choice i.e 9mm on a .22 caliber
The store I work at is a class 3 dealer and we are a gold dealer with silencer shop. We typically have around 550 suppressors "in jail" waiting for ATF approval. One thing that is recommended for a can shooting 22 lr is that it can be disassembled so the baffles can be cleaned since 22 is ...

Re: 61 Minute of Angle Zero Shift with Vortex Viper Red Dot Sight
If your G19 has the factory MOS check out the Holosun SCS. It fits direct on the MOS mount so there isn't an adapter plate required. This allows it to be mounted lower. The battery is changed on the side so it can stay mounted when changing a battery. A great feature the Holosun has over Vortex is s...

It's the new 4473 that went into effect 1 Apr. We get asked about the 2 new questions several times a day in the store I work at.

Re: Holosun custom fit to Glock
I work in a gun store and we sell lots of the sights you mentioned. It's the Holosun SCS. We sell more Holosun optics than any other brand. Personally I have at least 5 Holosuns. I have them all set to have the circle and dot dot on. The 32 MOA circle allows faster target acquisition while the relat...

Re: Hard To Load 13 rounds in Shield Plus 13-round mag
Yes. I emailed S&W customer service and they gave me an address to send the mags back to them. I sent 4 mags in along (at my cost) with a copy of the email. in about 2 weeks I got 4 mags back. I don't know if they are the same mags with new internals or new mags. They are stiff to get 13 rds in ...

Re: Need some owb p365 suggestions
I open carry an XL with Holosun 507K and 15 rd mag at work. I use a Fobus paddle holster. The SAS and original 365 also fit in the holster nicely.

Re: Federal gun sales databse
tk1700, thanks for sharing that. Questions: What software system are you using for 4473s? Is that (or is there) an industry standard, or are there other software packages for this purpose? How does the system store the 4473s - a database, PDf, CSV etc. ? Does it store information other than the 447...

Re: Stepped up my game.....
I highly recommend the Holosun 507Kx2. Its a new version of the 507K and will fit the RMSC cut (Glock 48MOS and others) and the Romeo Zero cut. You can purchase it with red or green display. The dot is small, 2 MOA, but it also has a 32 MOA circle that greatly helps in target acquisition. It can be...

Re: Federal gun sales databse
I work at a gun store in NM. We use digital 4473s, but the form stays in the store on our server. The customer fills out the 4473 info on a computer using a form fill built into the point of sale software. That form stays in the store. The employee making the sale reviews the customer info to verify...

Re: Who's running a dot on their pistol?
I agree the Holosun is a much better choice than the Sig Romeo Zero. Both do have a rear sight integrated so id the optic fails you still have an option. It probably isn't as good as the factory sights. I train using the optic and with it turned off. Shake awake feature is a must for a carry gun.

Re: Who's running a dot on their pistol?
I've had a vortex on a 22/45 for a couple of years. I really like it so I decided to try one on a 9mm carry pistol. I got a P365XL and added a Holosun 507K. It is what I carry 95% of the time now. The 507K has a 32 MOA circle and 2 MOA dot. The circle makes it so much faster and easier to get on tar...
