I like Sig Sauers trigger betterbmwrdr wrote:A CZ 75B will have all the features of a SIG P226 and you can get the SS version for lesser than the SIG.SQLGeek wrote:Get a Sig P226 Single Action Only and then you have the same mechanism as your 1911 without the DA/SA trigger issue. You'll spend some serious coin for one but if that's what you're looking for, you can get it.

Re: 9mm
I do believe the glock 19 is a quality pistol but I didn't care for the trigger nor how it felt in my hand but plenty of people like them so you shouldn't have trouble selling yours if you choose to do thatbmwrdr wrote:Every Stock Glock has the same trigger pull. Every stock SIG (except the newer ones with striker or SA) has the same trigger pull.
The Sig carries a higher price, is heavier but allows a second strike if a round won't go bang. I guess it is a question of preference. Mine is SIG and if you want a brand new Gen4 G17 + some shabeng send me a PM. I bought that dam' thing to find out I don't really care for it after 50 rounds.

those prices for replicas or actual rifles from WW2C-dub wrote:Check them out over at CMP.patterson wrote:what does one cost these days

Or you might get lucky and find one yourself from a friend or friend of a friend or at a gun show or just about anywhere. Prices seem to range from as low as around $700 to at least $2k for the various models. This is a decent place to start to get an idea of a rifle's value so that when you do see one somewhere you will have an idea of what it's worth.

I like Glocks, but do have a couple other things after purchasing my first Glock ~13 years ago. I have only CC'd a Glock and chose to do so because of the simplicity and reliability and on the recommendation of two different police officers. Just because that's what I've chosen to carry doesn't mean I can't appreciate anything else.

arms of any defensive pistol. If we are to continue the friendly debate of the merits of this platform, the military use of it holds no weight in my mind.
