1. Walther. But that's not saying that the CW9 is inaccurate.
2. Walther. Kahr's can be hit or miss, but from what I've read, it seems that the CW9 does ok.

4. $399-$429 for the CW, apprx. $575 for an AS Walther.

For your last question (two questions) neither pistol can be altered to be more lefty friendly. However, releasing the slide can be done by "slingshotting" the Walther, and the slide release lever of the Kahr is most likely reachable with either the trigger finger or thumb of the left hand. The Walther's mag release is ambidextrous.
