Re: New Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0

I am in the process of returning my 2.0 backing due to the plastic liner breaking. I sent a note to AG on Thursday evening about 8:00 Central. By 7:00 AM Central on Friday, I had a return email with 2 options: 1. Free replacement of my 2.0 backing 0r 2. and $11 upgrade to the 3.0 backing. I called t...

Re: Show your DIY Ideas and Projects

My Reloading machine is mounted to a piece of Butcher Block so that I can remove it from the Workbench. Stop by any Countertop dealer, and see if they have scrap pieces of Butcherblock Countertops. Most will have some thing they cut out for the Sink. A few dollars and you have a cheap, heavy mountin...

Re: My First IDPA match with my Shield 9

Ronw, Welcome to IDPA... It is a fun SPORT. It will help you build critical muscle memory, it will help you with tunnel vision, it will help you shoot on the move and behind cover. I struggle with calling it TRAINING...it is not. There are things in IDPA I would NEVER Do in real life, but it is good...

After a while, the "oh my God, did my shirt just lift" and the "Dang it, use your off hand to reach up" goes away. The comfort of having there is nice and Calming. I was really worried when a pedistrian and an Auto got into a "spirited" discussion at the cross walk in f...

First Weekend Completed

Returned from Canada to find a nice surprise in the Mailbox. DPS took between 21-14 days to get me my plastic. Carried all day Saturday and Sunday. Even did the 12 yr old check. Took him with me everywhere to assess how he would react knowing I was carrying. My biggest fear is the "yeah, well m...

Re: Walther polymer guns, experiences opinions.

I have a PK380. It is not a bad gun. Their quality is on par with most other manufactures. The Safety is opposite that of the 1911, i.e. thumb has to go up to turn OFF the safety, instead of pushing the safety Down. There is no Hammer stop. You can pull the trigger over and over with the safety on. ...

Cheapest I've found for Plated 9mm... There FMJ .223 price looks fairly reasonable as well.
