You "worry" about it because until DPS changes the website, you cannot apply online for a CHL without submitting your Social. :cheers2:

Bureaucrats. :roll:

Back in 2009 the Occupations code changed to require DPS to issue an ID card to people in the security business that is like a DL with a photo already attached. It took them 3 years to comply.

The answer DPS gave my instructor renewal class was that they didn't receive any funding to pay for the changes to the website coding that would eliminate the SS# requirement.

They are making changes slowly...
