have decided long ago that I am not letting this get me down.... still grilling and smoking briskets... just doing it a lot slower...

thanks for well wishes rbwhatever1 and tomdavis.... if i ever have to use one of those hoveround scooters definitely going to find a way to carry on it

Unintentional display
While walking into the local coffee shop my left foot caught on the lip of the sidewalk, causing all my weight to go to my right leg, which is weak,(right side is weak due to ALS) and actually did a slow fall to the sidewalk. Fortunately there were some helpful people to help me up... what i didn't realize at the time was the person who lifted me by under the arms also caused my shirt to ride up and uncover my IWB... not until i walked into the shop and felt that my shirt was different that i knew my weapon was uncovered.... did a quick shirt adjustment and went and got my coffee.... since there wasn't any yelling and no LEO's came charging in the place i figured everything was okay and went about my business..
