Same right I would have at my house in telling you the rules of my place. They will probably have a police officer at the door and he will ask you , thus giving verbal notice. You dont have to go there so you agree to abide by their rules when entering. This to me would be different from a standard ghostbuster and such because they have a cop at the door asking and checking. If they had a non-valid sign posted and that was it then carry away.
No mention is made in the previous posts that they had a cop, or anyone else, giving verbal notice. If that were the case, then yes, a chl couldn't bring his handgun into the gun show. I've never seen that before at any of the gun shows I've been to in Central Texas, maybe it's a new thing. I assumed they were talking about the generic signs I've seen that say all guns must be checked. If there is no 30.06 or someone giving verbal warning, the other signs are not applicable to a chl.
