Well, I was right. His parents had more sense than to name him "Quannell X".KBCraig wrote:Quanell X (born Quanell Jefferson Evans on December 7, 1970 in Los Angeles, California) is a member of the New Black Panther Party and a community activist in Houston, Texas. But not much more.

KLBJ radio did a story about the rally this morning here in Austin. They said that QX and his group were confronted by SEVERAL HUNDRED people supporting Mr. Horn. This includeed a contingent of bikers who revved their engines to drown out QX at times when he tried to speak.
They also played some audio of Mr. Horn's supporters chanting and in general making noise. It was great.
I was laughing my butt off on the way to work hearing all this.
I regret not being there myself. The weather turned out to be pretty good. It would have been a nice ride from Smithville to Pasadena on my Sportster.
Do you ever wonder why some people, who appear to want to be taken seriously, adopt some clownish "name" to go by?
I'm sure Mr. X's parent(s) had more sense than to name him "Quannel X". So the question is, why doesn't he?
