I am favoring several candidates right now and Fiorina is not one of them. Neither is Trump, although he talks a good game.
Unfortunately Walker and Perry are out. They actually were the better candidates in my opinion. Successful governors in their own right, especially Walker.
Fiorina failed as CEO and nearly led HP to ruin. If it comes down to Fiorina as a woman candidate against Hitlery I will vote Fiorina. A GOP ticket with Fiorina as one of the two might be a winning combination.
Some here think I swing Tea Party which is not necessarily true. Cruz is a great candidate but most do not understand him as a candidate, his values, and what drives him. He is unelectable as is Rand Paul.
The GOP needs to take the White House and I want to vote for that candidate. If the RNC puts Bush or Christie in there, they can forget about my vote. I will sit the election out.
The field needs to thin out and I need to see who survives. I am not holding my breath in the hope a true conservative survives. Many who consider themselves Republican wouldn't recognize a conservative if he jumped up and slapped them in the face.
In the end, I vote for who I think will best uphold the constitution. If none of the candidates on the ticket will do that, they have lost me.

Respectfully, Charles, every election is critical to the future of this country. I am in agreement with you 100%. I really would like to see some change in the direction we are headed. Nothing changed after 2014.Charles L. I deal with the world as it is. Actions speak louder than words. Lack of action speaks louder still. The GOP is a paper tiger.Charles L. Cotton wrote:

The constitution has been eaten away under every president and congress since ratification.
Of course the true conservatives cannot win the white house because the RNC ignores true conservatives. The RNC will decide who the GOP candidate is regardless of what the rank and file conservatives want.
The so-called mandate from the 2014 midterm elections meant nothing, just like the pending 2016 elections. If the GOP takes the white house, and that is a huge if, nothing will change. Tell me where and how the GOP majorities in both houses prevented anything Obama wanted? Tell me where McConnel or Boehner stood up to the white house? It didn't happen.

The government in DC is not governing now by the constitution. SCOTUS is a prime example.Charles L. Cotton wrote:
I disagree about Jeb Bush and Hillary. However, if Hillary wins, we will not survive with a Second Amendment or a constitutional form of government. Whoever is in the White House will nominate at least two new Supreme Court Justices, one of whom will replace Kennedy.

Jeb Bush will be the GOP candidate. The RNC wants him. Hillary will win.MechAg94 wrote:We still have a long, long way to go, but so far Jeb Bush has very little support. I am encouraged by that. I think he is a worse candidate than his brother.
Part of me actually hopes this happens. It will get us through the swirl of the toilet bowl into the sewer. The faster we get to bottom the sooner we can start working to the top again.
