To broaden horizons, learn about another culture, see how the "other side" lives, and all that goes along with it. I'd jump at an opportunity to go to China (inland China, not just HKG). If you refused to go, how do you know their food "sucks"? Surely you are not basing it on the "Wok on Wheels" (or other local Chinese food places) menu?

Hey, my son studied in China, and I can assure you, he's no commie. Not that I support anything coming from the Criminal in Chief, who no doubt has ulterior motives for this proposal, but it seems like we'd want to have lots of people who can read and write Chinese. And really, today's China isn't all that much different from Obama's America, excepting perhaps it's maybe a little more free.
