There are liberals on this board, they will argue their point over any subject that "could" happen but when something actually does happen because of their party affiliation...they don't have much to add to the topics. Case in point why trying to "win" them over will not work; look at the difference between the Tea Party rallies and the Occupy rallies, look at the difference in the debates on the news, who always is quick to smear someones character and call names? It isn't the right side of the isle. My point is, I believe the very FAR left are like the children that picked up their toys and went home because you didn't do what they said. It seems to be okay for them to make remarks about violent retaliation, but God forbid anyone else does it. It seems to be okay for them to "misremember" if that is even a word; had it been one from the right side that would have been "flip-flopping". It seems to be okay for them to "mis-speak" whereas anyone else would be a liar....sorry, I am tired of playing by their unbalanced rules, I do not wish to win over the hearts and minds of the people who are trying to rob me of what is mine. I think they should all go kick rocks....
I forgot to turn the sarcasm on.

I have been cautioned by several individuals that my words will either inflame those on the other side or will open me up for prosecution as a domestic terrorist under the unpatriot act or other recent legislation.

Whatever.

Too bad he didn't have the cajones to come out and call Obama a Socialist/Communist-wannabe when he had the chance. He probably would have garnered a few votes in the process.
:iagree:
I don't know. Some here think that we should use diplomacy and try to win the antigunners and commies over to our side. We would not want to alienate those that want to take away more of our freedom and rights.

It's on!
I think that's a bit premature.

What specifically do you think is premature?
Saying that a second civil war is "on". I'm not saying that this administration couldn't lead us there, but this is all still just speculation about what might be in a bill, the first draft of which hasn't even been filed yet.
With all due respect, the Democrats overtly attempting to subvert the Constitution without going through the proper channels of change constitutes the appropriate shot across the bow to warrant saying "it's on".

If they were attempting an honest effort at repealing the Second Amendment through the 2/3 state vote, then I would say a civil war is premature. As it is they are using brute force and authoritarian tactics leading straight into tyranny. That, my friend, is an act of war on the people of the United States.
I keep hearing this "repeal the second amendment" stuff.

The Constitution and BOR enumerate rights that pre-existed the document. These rights are God given and cannot be taken away. Even if the second amendment were repealed the right to keep and bear arms will still exist. It will just be more improtant to exercise the RKBA before it gets this far.

This is why we got rid of the King a long time ago, if memory serves.

The Congress has to stand up. It's their job and they wanted it! We have to keep reminding them that if they won't, we'll get someone who will.
A little late for that. These cowards have two years before the next election. There is only one political party in Washington. The elites.

That organization can't do squat, and if it came to blows, they would take months, if not years, to figure out what to do (aside from writing angry letters). Besides, they'd be too busy evacuating from New York to worry about "helping out"
Blue helmets would make good targets.

Obviously you are unaware of some folks with serious thoughts and feelings about the second amendment.

Don't start the fun without me!
