While you are publicly denouncing Catholic priests you need to also publicly chastize protestant churches twice as much and the public school system ten times as much. Protestant ministers are twice as likely to commit sexual abuse and public school personnel are more than ten times more likely to abuse children.
In fact, one in four girls and one in six boys in the public school system is abused by the age of 18.
12% of mental health professionals have sexual relations with their patients.
There are far more serious issues with sexual abuse in the secular world than in the Catholic Church.
Your statements are bigoted against the Catholic Church. I owe you no apology, but I have forgiven you and will pray for your soul.

Re: Michelle Bachman's background: 2 magazine articles.
I take extreme exception to your post. I am a Catholic and I think you owe us all a sincere apology for your callous and unjustified comments about the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. This board is not a place for bigoted statements based on whatever anger or bias you are harboring against the Catholic faith.OldCurlyWolf wrote:Not all of them are practicing Christians. And once you get higher in the hierarchy than parish priest, it gets even worse.Zergrush wrote:What is that supposed to mean? Catholic priests are Christian.DEB wrote:Why is it wrong to be a Christian? But it is okay to tell 16 year old boys to hide their relationships with older men?
Take your bigoted statements somewhere else.

The countries where women leaders are looked down upon are not now and never will be friendly to the US because for the most part those countries are muslim and operate under sharia law. We are infidels to them and we all must either worship their god or die.pcgizzmo wrote:I'm going to say and probably get in trouble but I don't know if a woman should be president of the US for the simple fact that we have to deal with so many foreign countries where women are looked down upon or are not allowed to be in leadership rolls. Our president has to demand and deserve respect from the leaders of other nations and a woman in this position will not garner the respect the American president deserves and needs to make deals and show the power and authority a leader of a nation needs to show.
Nothing against women and their ability to make good decisions but other countries simply wont respect a woman as our president I don't think.
Not to mention I'm not ready to go to war once a month. (Just kidding)
Based on this who cares if we elect a woman for president and why should we worry about what the world thinks?
