But, on to my question. Does anyone out there know how to create a home-brew infrared light that you can use that's much "brighter" than the lights on, say, a TV remote? Researching the subject a little I have come across information that a regular home lightbulb puts off much more IR light than visible light, is there a way to wrap the lightbulb in some sort of a filter that blocks visible light and only lets the IR light through?
