I think it was the Greeks and Phonecians(sp?). Something about a mountain pass and the greeks was gettin their tails handed to them. The Greeks told the Phonecians to hand over their weapons and they responded with the famous reply.

Once bitten by the 1911 bug, you are incurable. The first step is to admit you have a problem, and you have done that. Now you must satisfy the urge.

There are lots of 1911's on the market. My first one was a Springfield mil-spec. A little large to carry, but some do. Try a commander size. Some of the smaller ones are finnicky with certain ammo. The commander size is a good compromise on size and concealability. Alloy frames help on weight.

I will wager you will not stop with one. :cool:
