In Texas, the laws are such that the manufacturer has no say about policies such as this in dealerships. Dealerships are privately owned and they are run the way the owner sees fit or in some cases such as this store which is large enough to support a general manager the store policies are most likely set by the GM. Gulf States Toyota is a distributor of vehicles for a five state area. For all intensive purposes they are the a manufacturer. Again, no real say in store policy. So this is not a "Toyota" issue, it is an issue at a business owned by Red Mccombs which happens to be a car dealership that sells Toyota's. The General Manager of the store is the place to go with the issue. His assistant's email has been posted already in this thread and I have quoted the info above. I would suggest you contact the GM's assistant through e-mail to voice your concerns.
