So, is it possible to get updated information on the status of an application once it has been assigned to a trooper? I have called on two occasions. Both ladies were very nice, but only gave very general information.

"Everything seems to be alright. They are working on the back ground check. Don't worry." is about all I was able to get.

I am just getting close to the 60 day mark and getting a little antsy(I mailed on Mar 12). I have no arrests, child support or loan issues, mental health issues, lived in the same county. I read about others getting done in 30 days or so, and wonder what might be the problem.
