Re: Shooting at Roswell, NM Middle School

You all make some very good points. I have taught at a large public high school for 17 years. When I read stories like this they terrify me. There is no easy or blanket solution to this problem, but believe me schools are feeling the pressure to look like they are doing something to make kids more s...

Re: Anti-rape wear

I just keep wondering about the poor tipsy girls, who perhaps after a night of clubbing and drinking, are too impaired to get their own underwear off in time to go to the bathroom. That alone is a deal breaker for me. Not that I do much clubbing. Ahem. :cheers2:

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry

Nice setup. I'm loving my LCR and it's quickly become my EDC instead of one of my 1911's. I've picked up two holsters for it recently that I need to take pictures of. I'm starting to dig those K-Bar knives to. Thanks! I love my little K-bar. For the price it's a nice little knife. It's easily conce...

Re: Ladies Concealment Compression Shorts

Ok, I'm back with my review of the undertech compression shorts. I have the beige size medium in regular length. I am 5'11" and weigh around 150 and wear a size 8 to 10 pants. I LOVE these shorts. They are very comfortable and conceal my Ruger LCR very well under yoga pants, shorts, skirts, any...

Re: FlashBang Holster

Today I carried the Flashbang with my LCR. After quite a bit of fuss and trying on many different bras I was able to make it work. I wore it for about 2 hours and after a while it started slipping and digging into my skin at a couple of pressure points. It wasn't terribly uncomfortable, but I probab...

Re: Hunt ISD teachers can now carry

Would love to see the wording in your handbook. Would like to work on better wording in ours. Here ya go: Possession of Firearms and Weapons Policies FNCG, GKA A person commits an offense if the person knowingly, intentionally, or recklessly possesses or goes with a firearm, illegal knife, club or ...

Re: Hunt ISD teachers can now carry

Before I went for my CHL class I pulled out the employee handbook for our school district and read what they had to say about employees carrying weapons. I wanted to be informed of the exact policy, and mainly I wanted to know if I could lock my firearm in my car while I was teaching, for convenienc...

Re: Hunt ISD teachers can now carry

Wow, this is amazing. I had no idea there were so many districts. I'm afraid the larger districts in urban areas will probably be the last to jump on the concealed carry for teachers bandwagon. I am a high school teacher. We have 2-3 armed police on campus at all times at my very large (3000 student...

Re: My first carry experience

I use a Kusiak Leather holster for my LCP, it carries pretty low. You might like it. I just looked at the Kusiak. How is the retention on yours? I worry that leather may stretch over time versus kydex. I sure do like the little extra Ammo pouch they have listed. Prices seem reasonable too. I've bee...
