My worst gun was a pre-lock Smith and Wesson Sigma SW40VE. It was a good gun until I got it to about 5000 rounds and then it joined the failure a week club. I sent it to a gun smith who went over it, replaced all the springs and the extractor. At this point the gun was reliable for about 100 rounds and then it developed all the old problems again. After about three trips to the gun smith I sold it so cheap that I just about gave it away. Last I heard the current owner is now on a first name basis with at least two gun smiths.
