Yeah, When I called Taurus about the issue originally they told me the guns were designed that way for a reason. Kinda reminds me of Microsoft's "Its not a bug, It's a feature." garbage. All new production 24/7 guns should be the newer style, but there may still be some older versions out there in dealers cases waiting to be sold still.

When you get your 24/7 PRO check to ensure it is the newer version (Without the ribber grip).
