Re: Civil prosecution
it is my understanding that the immunity would have to kick in only after the civil trial judge determined the force was used in accordance with Chapter 9. If there is no prosecution, no grand jury indictment, or no conviction at a trial, it does not indicate the force was proper. It may simply ind...

Re: No longer a fan of The Bullet Trap
I also own a gun range in the Austin area. (Lone Star Gun Range) We have to draw the line somewhere with so many people hording ammo. If we do not have ammo we don't have public shooters, we can't hold classes and we go out of business. I understand the purchase a firearm you should be able to get s...

Re: Renewal Of Chl
By law for renewals, you're still supposed to have some "instruction" . . . some classes are held so that the "basics" are covered in the morning, followed by testing (written and shooting)for renewals; then they're done. First timers have to go back and listen to more "ins...

I am also a notary and can notarize that section for you as well. You can find information on my websit...

Re: TRY the Walther PPS
I have been able to shoot almost all the smallest 380 and have found my weapon of choice for concealed carry. Walther PPS 9 mm. It is not much larger than either the Ruger or the Kel-Tec. It is close to half the recoil nad a heck of a lot more accurate at 10 yards. I shoot almost as well with it at ...

Re: CHL class shooting experience
As a CHL Instructor I will tell you that you had a class that was NOT approved and can have your license denied or revoked (at a later time) due to the Instructor teaching something other than the APPROVED course of fire. Please let everyone know who was teaching an ILLEGAL class so others do not ri...

Re: Fingerprinting & Packet Submission Questions
That would be the Denson Lane location. If you leave the Highland Mall parking lot with the stoplight on the West side you will cross over RR tracks and the DPS station is on the right...can't...shouldn't be able to miss it. Fingerprinting is done VERY quickly most times. Then you can drive down the...
