Experience with converting resident CHL to non-resident CHL
Hey all,
Looking for some guidance if it is something as simple as updating an address to an out of state address or if I have to go through the whole application procedure again, however, for an out of state CHL. I currently posses a valid Texas CHL, however, I am changing residency.
TIA

Re: September Apps
I did mine all online... I'm hoping it doesn't get lost in some giant email inbox. :confused5 what do you mean online? don't you still have to submit barcode and CHL-100 via analog mail? I was told you could do it all online and on the barcode sheet it said "Email this sheet to RSD or by mail ...

Re: September Apps

It would have been sooner as my status said mailed on the 20th, however, it wasn't postmarked until the 23rd (weekend slowed it down) Aug 26th - Completed online forms and payment Aug 29th - Fingerprinting done Sept ...

Re: September Apps
As others have said, I am very impressed with the DPS in the speed for which they processed the application. On the other hand, I am unimpressed with the USPS, which is no surprise. Status went to mailed on Friday morning last week. Still no CHL in the mail as of today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a ...

Re: September Apps
Thanks for the input, I will probably still check it 3-5 times a day though :) Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I had mailed the paperwork off to Austin. I figured I would see something online now about how they had received the materials or something? Then again who knows how many other folks were a ...

Sent mine in on the 4th and I find myself checking the online status far too often. Who else has sent their's in? Any updates?
I know it can take weeks to see any status changes online. I'd imagine it will take even longer with the shorter classes (assuming more applicants).
