Re: First Responder Instructor Certification Training Course
I got the class full email. I'm going to throw a few questions out there. Any thoughts on what to charge for a 40 hour class? Who is going to pay for it? The 1st Responder? Their Employer? How feasible is it for them to ask for a week off? Range rental fees for "run & gun" & concea...

Re: First Responder Instructor Certification Training Course
Got the email yesterday. Went to RSD and did not find anything. Looks like someone already called and no luck. I'm curious about the curriculum, class outline, suggested fees, etc. I sent in the 71 form and asked for info. I'll decide when I see it. Can't afford to cut out 3 days for a maybe, but, o...

LTC-101 Going Away?
Not confirmed but heard from another instructor that the LTC-101 may be going away? Anyone hear of this? He said that the DPS call center said that the LTC-101 may be going away and that the 10/21 revised LTC-100 will be the only document. I'm guessing the on-line instructors will fill the top and t...

Revised LTC100 10/21
Just got the revised LTC100. There is now a Range Block that you sign/fill if a student takes proficiency before on line? And/Or also if they forget to print LTC101? I'm a little confused as to why? Why not just allow the Proficiency session of the 100 to be turned in with the Class section of the 1...

So, now the Governor made the order for no gatherings or groups of 10.
So, LTC classes? Can't have a class of 10?

So, if Constitutional Carry is approved, then what would be the advantage to having an LTC?

Re: HB 357 - Unlicensed Carry (Stickland)
Need help "absorbing" and digesting this. Seems to be alot of mods to current laws. Is it actually likely to stick this time? Help me out here, but if HB357 passes, then essentially Constitutional Carry is a go? Of course, carry in the outlined restricted areas is a no no, but this would.....

Intuit Credit Card Processing
Has anyone had any problems with Intuit Credit Card Processing? I have a "Square" that I sometime use for LTC Class Payments. According to the news, Intuit is now rejecting gun related purchases. Will probably be looking for an alternative. https://nypost.com/2018/06/11/gun-businesses-scra...

Re: On line classes have started
I received a call from an online student regarding the shooting qualification. I asked him if it was for Texas or another state? He did not know? Red Flag for me. I asked him what paperwork he had? He said he didn't have any? So, I don't know if he was fishing or what. I told him I could help him if...
