As an educator myself, I often get in trouble for not being PC enough. I am going to call it like I see it. So the reaction from my boss is sometimes
My take on it is that many of these kids today have a sense of entitlement. I tell them the truth. Once they get out of high school, no one is going to care if they pass their classes or think for themselves except them. They need to take responsibility, THINK, and act like they want to be treated. Often, the school at which I work is the first place they get told these things... they sure don't hear it at home!
