I have 2 Remora holsters for my Bodyguard. One for pocket and one for IWB. Inexpensive and comfortable.

Went with Palmetto for $319.99. No tax, free shipping. Paying a buddy $20 for transfer so $265 total isn't a bad deal. Thanks for the tip!

Re: Not the best instructor
This is actually a video from Dec 2010, but just went viral. Apparently happened in Las Vegas. here's the original post on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuqANKDAqxA I agree that he is not handling the pistol properly, including his first turn with the handgun where the observer/student du...

And of course a 44mag is the best choice to train a novice. This guy is obviously trying to impress his prowess on these rookies and his ego for the best of him.

Not the best instructor
This guy's credentials need to be reviewed or the range should remove him before things get out control. I kind of feel guilty for laughing at him, but jokes aside, I hate the example he's setting for these guys.

Re: Glock 19 jam issue
I was at the range not too long ago helping a young lady get ready to qualify for her LTC. One of the guys she works with was bragging about his Glock and how it would shoot forever while her Beretta 92 would fail. The very next round the Glock malfunctioned, followed by one round every four or fiv...

It's worth disputing the charge. I hate stuff like this. I almost fell for similar deal when renewing vehicle registration in another state for the first time.

Re: Motor homes
Man, am I glad I started this thread. I am learning a ton of stuff from you veteranos. There are tons of videos in the national archives (YouTube). That's how I learned lots of good tips. There are idiots out there but you'll quickly realize who is and isn't a credible source. And some are just dan...

Speaking of dumping. . . for others with experience. . .when set up and a "full sight" do you leave your gray and black water valves open or do you leave them close until 1/2 or so full and then empty them? I leave mine hooked up but close both grey and black tanks in order to prevent gas...

Re: Motor homes
So we went to Walmart and bought wheel chocks, a Lynxlevelers RV Leveling Kit, a knee-pad, a 15' Camco RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose Kit, RV toilet paper, a clean water hose, a 90º brass elbow and a brass water regulator for the clean water hookup, and a light broom and dustpan. Question: do you have to ...

Re: How to Handle Student's Failed Proficient Test
Never had a student fail the test. If they fail to pass such an easy test, they will really be dangerous with a gun. I'm not an instructor but I agree. During my test, there were some real "special people". Lets just say know gun safety, don't look down the barrel at a jam. Don't buy a ne...

Re: Motor homes
My purchase included a leveling hitch and anti-sway bars (or whatever they're called). We pick it up tomorrow morning, and we have a 2 hour "class" one on one with a technician before we drive it away. I imagine that this training session will also be a chance to develop a shopping list f...
