Thanks for answering. I thought so to but it is nice to hear from someone who agrees. I wrote an email asking the same question to the district attorney in my county. I also wrote one to Gerber tool corporate. I will be sure to post the responses I get.

I don't know much about carrying a fixed blade but I am interested in carrying a gerber LMF 2 for EDC.
It is single edge.
It is a fixed blade sheath knife.
It is not slim/skinny enough or balanced in a way that it could be called a "throwing" knife.
The blade length is about 4.8 inches.
Does anybody know if it legal to EDC this knife in Texas?
