If they are not posted 30.06, it's a non-issue, as the new law says it "applies only to a hotel that has a policy prohibiting or restricting the possession, storage, or transportation of firearms by hotel guests." Therefore, if not posted 30.06, they don't have to disclose that fact.

If indeed they are posted 30.06 and did not state this on their website or in the T&C sent to you upon taking your reservation, they would appear to be in violation of this new law. I assume you are referencing the Galleria Doubletree in Dallas? Then I would start by reporting the violation to the City of Dallas Code Compliance Office: http://www.dallascityhall.com/code_comp ... index.html. They are responsible for enforcing code violations.
