Agreed. There is no reason for an employer to have any of that information- medical or otherwise. There might be legal issues here that trump termination at will in this instance as some of that could be used for defacto age or disability discrimination (I am not an attorney on this, I can just see an argument being made here potentially). The whole thing sounds extremely suspicious like an HR flunkie's gone overboard.FML wrote:I would ignore the request. I would also start looking for a new job. I would seriously consider not giving advance notice when I changed jobs. Texas law does not require it and a company like that hasn't earned it.
