Being the ornery person that I am, I decided that I needed to send her a response:

Stephanie,

Thank you for replying with your form letter.

I have seen this exact response a dozen times on the TexasCHLforum.com site.

One thing that I feel like I should question, in your response you said "That right, however, must be balanced with our need as a retailer to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our customers and team members." Please explain to me how taking away defensive weapons provides a safe environment? I did not see any armed guards or off duty law enforcement. As far as I could tell, after placing the 30.06 sign in your store window banning LEGAL concealed carry of a firearm, the only people in your store with a gun would be people who intend to break the law. If a person with criminal intent targeted a store to rob, I think that he would go into a place of business that he knew has banned concealed carry. After all, they don't want to take a chance of being shot!

So, all things considered, your claim of making a "safe" environment is disingenuous. I will still NOT be coming into your store, not only to exercise my right to chose with whom I do business, but also to protect myself from possible harm from people who are not threatened by a paper sign in a window.
Thats a quality reply. :thumbs2: :thumbs2: :thumbs2: :thumbs2: :thumbs2: :thumbs2:

AFAIK, its owned and operated out of AZ.

Last time I visited the ALDI locally, they were not posted! If their ground beef and bacon is decent, I will shop there!
I shop at Aldi's in Keller. Good Bacon and Good Ground beef :thumbs2:

Good milk, eggs and house brand products. The drawback to their produce department is they sell a lot of BULK packaging of stuff, which is not so good for a family of 2

But, They do not post. Neither does Kroger/Albertsons/Tom Thumb in Keller. Sprouts is going to regret this decision in Keller, where there is LOTS of competition and LOTS of CHL holders.

James
I sure hope that you are right. I believe that I've cost them 10 regular customers including us. Many of our family members and friends started shopping there because we recommended Sprouts. It took almost no time at all to reverse that recommendation. At the end of the day, however, we will have to have a real impact on their bottom line if there is any hope of a decision reversal. Even if a handful of stores see a sales drop, I doubt that it is going to make the signs come down.
They will only regret it if the loss is noticable and can be tracked to why. Letters and comments are helpful in explaining the why, so keep it up. :thumbs2:

Re: Angry at Sprouts!

I don't have a facebook account (but my wiener dogs do strangely), but told the wife about this. They are openeing one behind us and she was looking to go to it when it opened. Hopefully she will help stir a ruckus.
