Bottom line, as has been stated, if you pocket carry, use a good pocket holster that covers the trigger guard and trigger.
Two reasons, it keeps the weapon properly oriented for the draw and it keeps things off the trigger, bugger hook included, until it is drawn.
I bet the one legged dance he did was funny to see. But in all seriousness, I hope he makes a full recovery. The foot has a lot of bones that require it to work properly.
