Re: Professional sporting events
IANAL but I will opine that if these are PRCs, then it is a pro event regardless of the "prize".

IIRC, "postsecondary educational institution" was modified by the campus carry law, and is now governed by 30.06.

Re: Caldwell county new gun law
Counties can regulate properties less than 10 acres. State preempts regulating anything larger. So, no, you cannot discharge a firearm in Caldwell County on property less than 10 acres, just like being inside a city limit. This issue is where people get confused about the 10 acre rule. If the county...

Re: Tim Walz- Commala’s VP pick
There's no evidence of that. He retired in 2005 after 24 years of service which seems normal to me. He did deploy with his unit post 9/11 to Europe, you go where they send you. He did serve as a CSM, but had to retire as a Master Sergeant because he never completed the Sergeants Major Academy. His c...

Re: Today in Trump's 1st term as President
I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. I have not abrogated that oath and I will not swear loyalty to any man over that oath, nor will I stand idly by when someone tries to put themselves above the Constitution. I respect your difference of opinion.

I got my R95 in 45LC to use for Cowboy Shooting (black powder loads). It is a lot of fun to shoot and has been quite accurate in that venue.

Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight Vanishes
There was clearly deception involved in this missing flight. The initial search area was off the coast of Vietnam when Thailand already knew the aircraft had flown over Thailand to the Indian ocean. Engine telemetry data was suppressed and what data was finally released was clearly fake. Somebody d...

Big Bend NP recommends shouting and throwing rocks at the lion. Apparently it scares them away.
From the video, the slowly backing away only seemed to encourage the lion.

Re: Mattress - WAY OFF TOPIC
We went with Tempur-Pedic, yes I know expensive. We got separate adjustable frames. and she picked her firmness and I picked mine. Will probably be the last mattress I ever buy. Completely satisfied. You spend a third of your life in bed, you need to be comfortable.
