Perhaps he understands the difference between dealing with bad guys, and picking up the pieces of their victims afterward. Both acts are noble but they are different.G26ster wrote:Perhaps you missed all the coverage during 9/11/01 in NY and DC. I found it quite a show of ordinary folks helping ordinary folks in the most horrific of circumstances.G0C wrote:I don't know but I bet it has something to do with mindset and culture. In places like The South, the locals might not be shy about using their pickup trucks to teach punks some manners. And if they pick on granny in her Buick, some of her neighbors might be gentlemen and protect her. However, in yankee metro areas like NYC and DFW, the locals don't feel that social obligation.Oldgringo wrote:Some ten years ago when we doing a job aboard Camp LeJeune, NC, we would see groups of 50-70 Sunday bikers on the back road to Swansboro and New Bern. We never heard of such chicanery and hooliganism by these southern bikers as was displayed by the yankee bikers in the article. Why is that?
Another factor is those bikers in NC probably knew who fathered them.
