Notice the focus is on what a good, normal person he was. No mention of the knife outside of the title, and every other instance mentioning the violent act is called an "attack" not a stabbing. If a gun had been used, you can bet that the type of gun and the fact that it was a shooting would have been all over the article.
@Dale Blanker - this is exactly why the Statesman is not the wonderful unbiased source of information that you seem to think it is.
